We often get asked "what is the best razor blade for me to use?". The problem with razor blades is that there is no "best" blade as different blades all work differently on different skin and beard types. Even using the same blade in different safety razors can give different results. Therefore our suggestion is to try a few different razor blades to see what works for you. You should look for a razor blade that cuts the beard without any tugging but is smooth enough so that you don't get any irritation. To help people find their perfect razor blade we have created a razor blade sample pack that contains seven different types of razor blade for only £8.00.

We have received our order of Truefitt & Hill aftershaves and colognes. These are now available to buy online.

It's always nice to complete an entire shave using one brand of products. This morning I used Truefitt & Hill 1805 shaving cream, followed by 1805 aftershave balm, followed by 1805 cologne and it feels great!

We are also planning to put together some Traditional Shaving custom gift sets that allow you to combine matching combinations of shaving cream, aftershave balms, aftershaves and colognes in a boxed gift set with a nice package discount.

At The Traditional Shaving Company we know that there can be two obstacles to overcome when making the jump to traditional wet shaving.

Firstly there is such a large choice of shaving products available that it can be difficult to know what products to start with.
